January 12, 2010 a 7.0 earthquake shook the tiny island of Haiti. Approximately 3 million people were affected by the quake and over 200,000 were killed and the number of severely injured climbed into the thousands.

Since then, NECC  continues to return to Jacmel and  helps to rebuild
schools, churches, homes, supports medical clinics, donates to the
feeding program,  and sponsors children.
